Tussy King

Tussy King received a Bachelors of Music degree in flute performance from the University of Utah.  Her teachers include Jane Wadsworth, Erich Graf, and Vladimir Tolstik.  She has attended and participated in master classes given by Julius Baker, Jean-Pierre Rampal, William Bennett, Wilfred Kujala, and Erich Graf / David Whitesides. 

Tussy has played with numerous local groups including the Salt Lake Opera Theatre, Orchestra and Chorus of Sandy City, Salt Lake Symphonic Winds, Westminster Chamber Orchestra, Intermountain Classical Orchestra, Pioneer Theatre Company Orchestra, Quartette Classique, and the Ballet West Orchestra. In addition, Tussy has performed as part of the Paradigm Concert Series and the Contemporary Music Consortium.  As a freelance musician Tussy has played for local commercial recordings, teaches private lessons, and was president of the Utah Flute Association. Tussy enjoys playing with The Prevailing Winds.
